Comments: Genus Rhodobaenus has three Nearctic species. Two of them are quite similar in color and markings: R. tredecimpunctatus and R. quinquepunctatus.

R. quinquepunctatus has a large black spot at the apices of the elytra, while in R. tredecimpunctatus the elytra are red at the apices.
