Subject: Montezuma Oropendola female, Psarocolius montezuma Location: Parque Eco-Arqueológico Los Naranjos, near Peña Blanca, Honduras Stock Number: 09-24439 Comments: These large and showy birds are members of the Icteridae, the Blackbird Family. A female is shown. Males are much larger than the females, and have prominent pink wattles below the whitish-blue spot that is under the eye.
