Comments: These large and showy birds are members of the Icteridae, the Blackbird Family. A female is shown. Males are much larger than the females, and have prominent pink wattles below the whitish-blue spot that is under the eye.

Psarocolius montezuma is mostly a fruit-eating species, but also eat flowers and even insects.
